SYOSSET, NY – The
Nassau County Region of the American Cancer Society
is proud and honored to welcome Jai Grewal, M.D.,
a Neuro-Oncologist with Neurological Surgery, P.C.,
to its board of advisors. Dr. Grewal specializes
in the management of primary brain and spine tumors,
central nervous system metastases, and neurological
complications of cancer.
As a member of the American Cancer Society’s
advisory board, he will support the organizations
programs and activities. “We are excited to
have Dr. Grewal on our team and we look forward to
partnering with him on several new projects,” said
Dee McCabe, regional vice president of the American
Cancer Society’s Nassau County Region.
Dr. Grewal received his undergraduate degree from
Boston University, and his medical degree from Spartan
Health Sciences University. He completed his internal
medicine internship at Griffin Hospital in Derby,
Connecticut, which is affiliated with Yale University.
He then performed a residency in neurology at the
University of Texas, Southwestern. Subsequently Dr.
Grewal completed a neuro-oncology fellowship at the
MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Grewal is board-certified by the American Board
of Psychiatry and Neurology. He was the recipient
of the Teva Neuroscience Award for his achievement
in neuroanatomy.
